4.3.2 Power connections battery side.
Each UPS with its own battery cabinet
BAT - battery input on the UPS.
OUT - output terminal on the UPS.
1,2,3 - parallel UPSs.
BATTERY CABINET if provided:
In order for the battery cabinet to be connected to the SENTRY MPS-HP, it must be
provided with a
sectioning device.
This disconnector must
be closed only when the UPS is started up regularly. In the phase of connection to
the UPS the disconnector must
remain in the open position.

Disconnector cabinet
For systems with 3 or more battery cabinets (up to 5 units), it is necessary to use a cabinet with a
disconnector where the cables can be connected in parallel (consult the commercial department). For the
sizing of the cables and for the connection procedure refer to the “INSTALLATION DRAWING”
attached to the battery cabinet.
Consult the commercial department for backup times that require a greater number of battery cabinets.
