16.7 Lens Data System
The ALEXA M is equipped with a LA-PL-2 lens mount with LDS
contacts. When using a LDS lens, such as Master Primes or LDS Ultra
Primes, the camera reads, displays and records lens metadata.
The LDS screen can be accessed through the menu, which contains an
additional item "LDS". This menu item is only available on the ALEXA
M.
Note: Lens motors and the Lens Data Archive LDA are not supported by the
ALEXA M.
