“Mixer Failure
Press Any Key”
Vial hitting Vial Holder Cover, due to
Vial not inserted completely in Vial
Holder or cap not removed from Vial.
Make certain vial is inserted
completely in Vial Holder and the cap
is removed.
Obstruction prevents Vial Holder from
moving freely from side to side.
Remove gray shield, and Rear Access
Cover if needed. Find and remove
obstruction. Refer to Section 8.3,
“Removal of Rear Access Cover.”
Component failure Call Artel Technical Support for
assistance.
Error Message:
“ERROR-16
FILTER WHEEL
ERROR”
Filter wheel sensor not detecting
wheel properly.
Call Artel Technical Support for
assistance.
Error Message:
“READING ERROR
RETRY (Y/N)”
Bad A/D reading If after second retry, error message
persists, turn Instrument and printer
power switches off for 1 minute or
longer, then power back on. If the
problem still persists, call Artel
Technical Support for assistance.
Error Message:
“Invalid volume!
Re-enter? Yes/No”
Volume is outside the specified
pipette volume range that the PCS is
capable of calibrating.
The PCS can calibrate pipettes from
0.1 µL through 5000 µL.
Message:
“Waiting for Data
Collection Prompt”
The Data Collection output has been
turned on. The Instrument is waiting
for a signal from a PC to send
calibration results via the RS232 port.
If calibration results are not being sent
to a PC via the RS232 port,
press CLEAR. To turn off the Data
Collection output. Refer to Section
6.7, “Serial Data Output (Data Collect
Flag).”
