If you see spots on stainless steel or silver in your Asko Dishwasher, it could be due to certain foods like mustard, mayonnaise, lemon, vinegar, or salt. Rinse these foods off dishes if you're not starting the dishwasher immediately, or use the Rinse and hold program. Also, separate silver, stainless steel, and aluminum dishes to prevent contact during washing, which can cause marks.

      Michael CollinsSep 1, 2025
If you notice spots or films on dishes from your Asko Dishwasher, the rinse aid dosage setting may be incorrect. Also, high temperatures or too much detergent can cause etching on crystal. Try washing crystal at a lower temperature and using less detergent. You might also want to contact the detergent manufacturer for advice.
