If you find water remaining in your Asko dishwasher above the filters, try these steps: First, clean the coarse and fine filters. Then, check that the filter handle is locked in the stop position, pointing straight out. Next, inspect and clean the drain pump for any debris. Ensure the colored stop on the right in the bottom drain is in place. Check the drain hose for kinks and ensure it's not blocked, making sure the cone-shaped part of the drain boot is appropriately sized where it connects.

Why are the dishes not clean in my Asko DFI652?

      Jason WoodAug 29, 2025
If your Asko dishwasher isn't cleaning dishes properly, start by checking that the spray arms can rotate freely and aren't blocked by dishes. Clean the spray arms and the middle basket's spray pipe if the holes or bearings are blocked. Ensure you're using a suitable dishwashing program and the correct detergent dosage based on your water hardness. Avoid using old detergent and make sure dishes are loaded correctly, without large bowls or lids covering other items, and that tall glasses aren't placed in the corners. Secure glasses and cups to prevent them from toppling during the wash. Verify that the filters are correctly fitted and that the drain pump stop is in place.

      James GutierrezAug 28, 2025
If your Asko dishwasher isn't starting, make sure you press and hold the Start/Stop button until the display indicates the program has started and prompts you to close the door within four seconds. Ensure the door is properly closed immediately after pressing Start/Stop. If you've opened the dishwasher mid-cycle, press Start/Stop again and close the door promptly. Also, check the fuse/circuit breaker, the plug, and the water supply valve. Look for any signs of overflow or leaks. If you hear a continuous whirring sound from the drain pump, turn off the water supply valve, pull out the plug, and contact customer support. If you want to cancel the Delayed Start option, press and hold Start/Stop for three seconds.

Why does my Asko DFI652 smell bad?

      Jasmine BoydAug 27, 2025
To address a bad odor in your Asko Dishwasher, clean around the seals and in corners with a dish brush and low-foaming cleaner. If you frequently use low-temperature programs, run a program with a higher temperature once or twice a month, or use the self-cleaning program. If your dishwasher is connected to a garbage disposal, clean the disposal following the manufacturer's instructions.
