Disposal of exhausted batteries
At the end of its useful life, a battery pack containing
lithium batteries must be disposed of according to the
Current Regulations and cannot be disposed of as
simple waste.
The European Directive for this type of waste
establishes that the States adhering to this convention
undertake to adopt “appropriate measures” so that
exhausted accumulators are collected separately, for
the purpose of their possible recovery or disposal.

charge of this concern.
