REAR BRAKE FLUID LEVEL CHECK
(only NGS2 - NGS3)
The rear brake fluid reservoir is equipped with an
inspection window to check the level in the tank.
To check the fluid level the tank, it is possible to look
through the inspection window through the slot at the
front left of the handlebar cover.
If the brake fluid level is low or insufficient, DO NOT fill
the reservoir but check the brake pads and brake disc
for wear and any leaks in the brake circuit.
WARNING
The brake fluid is hygroscopic, i.e. It absorbs moisture from the surrounding air. If
the moisture in the fluid exceeds a certain value, the braking will be inefficient.
WARNING
It is advisable to change the fluid every 2 years, never use brake fluid from partially
used or open containers.
WARNING
Check that only DOT4 brake fluid is used.
WARNING
The brake circuit fluid has a high corrosive power. Do not allow it to come into
contact with skin or painted parts. In case of contact with the skin, wash with plenty
of water.
