Dial, delete or edit directory entries
6. Press the SAVE soft key on the handset to save. There is a confirmation
tone and the screen shows the edited entry.
Using the telephone base:
1. Search for the desired entry in the directory (see Review the directory on
pages 42-43).
2. When the desired entry appears, press the EDIT soft key.
The screen shows EDIT NUMBER.
3. Use the dialing keys (0-9) to edit the number.
Press CANCEL to backspace and erase a digit.
Press qCID to move the cursor to the left or pDIR to
the right.
Press the PAUSE soft key to insert a dialing pause (a
p appears).
4. Press the NEXT soft key to move to the name. The
screen shows EDIT NAME.
5. Use the dialing keys (see page 39) to edit the name.
Press CANCEL to backspace and erase a character.
Press qCID to move the cursor to the left or pDIR to
the right.
6. Press the SAVE soft key on the telephone base to save. There is a
confirmation tone and the screen shows the edited entry.
