language that uses the
same alphabet as we do,
you go back to laborious-
ly add accent marks,
cedillas, and other dia-
critical marks by hand.
You are spared that
trouble with the ATARI
800XL Home Computer,
which has an interna-
tional character set.
International characters
are available from certain
software programs, or may
be obtained in BASIC
using the following poke:
POKE 756, 204 [Press
RETURN]
Then press CONTROL
in combination with the
keys shown below to
produce international
characters.
