Important information for consumers in the EU
Disposal instructions for batteries and rechargeable batteries
Every consumer is legally obliged to return all used batteries and
rechargeable batteries according to the Battery Ordinance (Directive
2006/66/EC). Disposal in the household waste is prohibited. Since
batteries and rechargeable batteries are also included in the delivery of
products from our range, we would like to point out the following:
Used batteries and rechargeable batteries do not belong in the
household waste, but can be handed in free of charge at the public
collection points of your municipality and everywhere where batteries
and rechargeable batteries of the respective type are sold.
Furthermore, the end user has the option of returning batteries and
accumulators to the retailer from whom they were purchased (statutory
take-back obligation).
