7 Service and spares
7.1 Introduction
Atlas Copco products, spares and accessories are available from Atlas Copco companies in Belgium,
Brazil, China, France, Germany, Israel, Italy, Japan, Korea, Singapore, United Kingdom, U.S.A and a
world-wide network of distributors. The majority of these centers employ Service Engineers who have
undergone comprehensive Atlas Copco training courses.
Order spare parts and accessories from the nearest Atlas Copco Company or distributor. When ordering,
state for each part required:
Model and Item Number of the equipment
Serial number
Item Number and description of part
7.2 Service
Atlas Copco products are supported by a world-wide network of Atlas Copco Service Centers. Each
Service Centre offers a wide range of options including equipment decontamination; service exchange;
repair; rebuild and testing to factory specifications. Equipment which has been serviced, repaired or rebuilt
is returned with a full warranty.
The local Service Centre can also provide Atlas Copco engineers to support on-site maintenance, service
or repair of the equipment.
For more information about service options, contact the nearest Service Centre or other Atlas Copco
company.
7.3 Spares
Please find spare parts number for pump overhaul in AWC bare shaft ASL (Document number:
300871515).
Further information, please contact the nearest Atlas Copco Company, Service Centre or distributor for
information regarding spare parts.
7.4 Contamination
Whenever you send us in equipment, indicate whether the equipment is contaminated or is free of
substances which could pose a health hazard. If it is contaminated, specify exactly which substances
are involved. You must use the form we have prepared for this purpose.
A copy of the form has been reproduced at the end of these Operating Instructions: “Declaration of
Contamination for Compressors, Vacuum Pumps and Components”.
Attach the form to the equipment or enclose it with the equipment.
This statement detailing the type of contamination is required to satisfy legal requirements and for the
protection of our employees.
We must return to the sender any equipment which is not accompanied by a contamination statement.
The pump must be packaged in such a way that it will not be damaged during shipping, and so
that no harmful substances can escape from the package. When disposing of used fluid, please
observe the relevant environmental regulations.
