The engine oil should be replaced after the first
8 hours of operation and thereafter in
accordance with the maintenance schedule in
the engine manufacturer's operating and
maintenance instructions.
Check hydraulic oil filter
When the filter gauge needle remains in the red
sector (while the engine is idling and the oil is at
service temperature), the filter must be replaced.
1. Stop the engine, switch off by-pass valve.
2. The old filter is removed by turning it clockwise
(use a filter strap wrench if necessary).
3. Tilting the power pack rearwards will minimise
oil spillage.
4. Before mounting the new filter, it is
recommended to grease the surface of the seal
with oil in order to ease tightening of the filter.
