6.1 TILT SENSOR
The tilt sensor in the ground control station
constantly measures the machine's tilt.
- NOTE-
This device must not guide how the machine
is used. Do not raise the platform or move
with the platform on inclines, uneven or loose
surfaces.
• When the structure is lowered, the light
comes on to indicate that the machine's tilt
level is too high for the platform to be raised.
• When the structure is raised, the tilt light comes on and an alarm sounds when the maximum
tilt authorised is reached.
The alarm indicates that the machine has reached its stability limit.
Different movement cut-out levels may be configured if the acceptable tilt is exceeded.
• Mode 1:
- Drive movement cut-out when the maximum tilt is reached.
- Engine high speed cut-out for the structure movements.
• Mode 2:
- Drive movement cut-out when the maximum tilt authorised is reached.
- Engine high speed cut-out for the structure movements.
- Structure movement speed reduction.
- Telescope extension cut-out
- Arm 2 movement and orientation cut-out until the telescope is not fully retracted.
- Combined movements prohibited.
• Mode 3:
- Drive movement cut-out when the maximum tilt authorised is reached.
- Engine high speed cut-out for the structure movements.
- Structure movement speed reduction.
- Telescope extension cut-out.
- Elevation movement for arms 1 and 2 cut-out.
- Arm 2 lowering movement and structure rotation movement cut-out until the telescope is
not fully retracted.
- Combined movements prohibited.
