er's door is open .

Fog lights
The side marker lig hts or low beams must be
switche d on. When the fog lights are swit ched
on, the green check light at the edge of the
switch comes on.
If automat ic driving light control AUTO is acti -
vated, the low beams are switched on when
the fog li ghts are turned on .
Rear fog lights
Low beams or side marker lights with fog
lights must be tur ned on.
When the rear fog lights are turned on, the
yellow check light at the edge of the switch
comes on.

The rear fog lights should only be turned
on in accordance with t raff ic regulation, as
the lights are bright for following traffic.
Adjusting exterior lighting
The functions are selected in the radio or
MMI*.
.. Select: Function button ICARI > Exterior
lighting.
Coming home*
The coming home function ensures t hat after
turning off the ignition and opening the
driver's door
the vehicle periphery is illum i-
nated in the dark. I n addition , the front fog
lights, the tail lights and the license plate
light are turned on. The power-on t ime can be
set for a period from O (off) to 30 or 60 sec-
onds.
Leaving home*
The leaving home fu nctions ensures t hat
when unlocking, the vehicle periphery is illu-
minated in the dark. In addit ion, the f ront fog
lights, the tail lights and the license plate
light are t urned on. This funct ion can be
tu rned on and off .
Auto headlights*
When the light switch is in the AUTO
¢ page SO position, the switch-on point of the
lights can be changed in the automatic driving
light f unction .
Daytim e running lights
The daytime running lights can be tur ned on
or off using t his function* . If t he function is
active, the dayt ime running lights are turned
on automatically whe n the ignition is switch-
ed on.
