6.5 Transferring Calls
You can transfer a call to another party by pressing the Trans softkey. You can perform an
attended transfer OR a semi-attended transfer.
During an established call with Phone 2 you understand that they need to talk to
Phone 3 so you press the New Call softkey and establish a call with Phone 3;
Phone 2 is put on hold. Only after Phone 3 answers and you speak with them,
you press the Trans softkey; Phone 2 is transferred to Phone 3.
Same as Attended Transfer except that you transfer Phone 2 to Phone 3 before
they answer.
6.5.1 Attended Transfer
To do an attended transfer:
1. During a call with Brad he asks you (Mike) to transfer him to Ido. Press the New Call softkey;
the New Call screen is displayed:
2. Enter Ido's number and press Dial; Ido's phone rings and Ido answers:
3. Speak to Ido and press the Trans softkey; Brad is transferred to Ido:
