ERS 5000 Series with Hirschmann™ IE Switches TCG
Abstract
This Technical Configuration Guide describes a solution comprised of Avaya Ethernet Routing Switch
5000 Series switches and Hirschmann™ Industrial Ethernet switches. During interoperability testing,
connectivity was established between the Avaya and Hirschmann™ switches, and tests that simulated
network failures were successfully completed.
Information in this Technical Configuration Guide has been obtained through Avaya Data Solutions
interoperability testing and additional technical discussions. Testing was conducted at the Avaya Data
Solutions Test Lab.
