Notes
7. For all test cases involving link or switch failure, if the failure occurs on the VRRP Master, there is a 5-6
second traffic disruption. If the switch failure occurs on the VRRP Backup, the interruption is 2-3 seconds.
For link failures on the VRRP Backup, there is only a sub-second disruption.
8. For all test cases involving link or switch recovery, if the recovery occurs on the VRRP Master, there is
a 5-6 second disruption to traffic. If the recovery occurs on the VRRP Backup, there is only a sub-second
disruption.
9. Routed IGMP on the ERS 5530 requires PIM which is currently not supported in a Switch Cluster. In
addition, Hirschmann™ does not support IGMP Snooping over Link Aggregation.
10. IGMPv3 multicast test is not completed as the Avaya 55xx does not currently support PIM or IGMP
Snooping with IGMPv3.
