INTRODUCTION
The AF994 is a 4 zone wall-mounting burglar alarm control panel. The 4 zones have NC-type inputs; the
alarm detectors can be connected to these directly by wire. A tamper line is also provided to protect all
the external elements. The mechanical key, located on the front side permits the system to be connected
and disabled. Four pushbuttons are provided to permit exclusion of the individual zones, so that the
system can be partially connected.
A remote activation point can also be connected, code AF45342, which through the electronic key
AF45339, permits connection, disconnection and zoning from a remote position. The control panel is
complete with an internal power supply unit that powers the detectors, charges the batteries of the out-
door self-powered siren and charges the back-up battery. This latter, inside the control panel, powers the
system in the event of mains failure.

The requirements and performance of the control panel according to the CEI 79-2 standard are assured
under the following climatic conditions:
• Reference temperature and relative humidity: 25°C RH 60%
• Operating room temperature range: -10°C to +50°C
• Maximum relative humidity: 90% at +35°C
• Altitude: 2000m a.s.l.
