ERROR CODES AND TROUBLESHOOTING
In the event of a problem with the electrical components of your
bike, the display will show an error code. Compare the code with
this list below and HOW TO RESOLVE:

1. Stop riding and let the bike cool
down for 2 minutes to see if the
error code disappears. If the error
code persists, check to confirm that
the motor and controller cables are
properly connected, also check cables
for damage or wear and tear on the
connectors.
2. If a second Aventon compatible ebike
is present, connect the motor to a
known-good working controller see if
motor works correctly. If the motor runs
normally on a dierent controller, then
replace the controller on the aected
bike. If the motor doesn’t work with the
known-good working controller, then
replace the motor.

When you press and release the
throttle, it should return to the original
position. Remove any obstructions.
Check the throttle and throttle cable for
damage, such as a cut or frayed cable.
Disconnect and re-connect the throttle
cable, if this fails to resolve the error
code, replace the throttle assembly.
