Adjusting the Display Backlight
1. Touch the Emerald key to access the Start Menu, select Settings, Control Panel, and
Backlight.

Touch the > key to increase the amount of backlight or the < key to decrease the amount of
backlight for each of the options
Active level is the amount of backlight on the display
when it is in use.
Idle level is the amount of backlight on the display when
the printer is in user idle mode.
Active Level (In Dock) is the amount of backlight on the
display while the printer is docked in the 6054/6055
before it goes into idle mode.
Idle Level (In Dock) is the amount of backlight on the
display while the printer is docked in the 6054/6055 when
it is idle mode.
Printing
When and how you print depends on your printer’s application. It may print
only after you press a certain key
automatically as soon as you press a key
automatically with no input from you
one label or a strip of labels.
