Configurations Customized Only Via the Product’s
Web Page
There are some activities which can be set only through the product’s web page.
For example, some options on [Device Management], [Import/Export], and
[Public Folder]. How to use these options will be described in the following
sections.
Exporting and Importing System Data
To easily manage several AN240W in the network, the machine provides a useful
feature to allow system administrator to export the system data of one AN240W
into a file and then import this data to other AN240W in the network.
For example, the address book, filing profile, and default systems settings of one
AN240W can be first exported to a file as a backup and then import these files to
other AN240W.
Follow the procedure described in below to export and then import your system
data.
To export system data,
1. On the product’s web page, choose [Import/Export].
2. Choose the system data you want to export. Choice: Address Book, Filing
Profile, Settings (Device Management, Account Management, Mail
Server/LDAP Server, E-Mail Default, Filing Default).
3. Choose [Export Now]. The selected system data will be exported into a file.
If [address book] is selected, an AN240W_addressbook.csv file will be
generated. If [filing profile] or [settings] is selected, an
AN240W_profile.json or AN240W_setting will be generated...
4. Save the exported file into your computer as a backup.
