Setting Up an Ad-hoc Network in Windows XP
6. Configure the following settings in the “Wireless network
properties” window:
Enable the option “This is a computer-to-computer (ad hoc)
network; wireless access points are not used”.
For “Network Authentication” select “Shared”.
For “Data encryption” select “WEP”.
Enter a 5-digit or 13-digit network key.

7. Click “OK”.
