ing liquid is then released into the

8. Remove the drip tray and empty the
container.
9. Re-insert the drip tray and position
the container under the outlet.
The cleaning programme will auto-
matically start with the rinsing pro-
gramme. The water from the rinsing
cycle is dispensed directly into the
container
After the rinsing cycle, the LED
“Empty pod basket” will illuminate
again.
10. Remove the drip tray and empty the
container.
11. Re-insert the drip tray and position
the container under the outlet.
The cleaning programme will au-
tomatically start with the second
cycle.
12. When the “Empty pod basket” LED
illuminates again, empty the drip
tray and the container.
13. Re-insert the drip tray.
The tea maker automatically ejects
the cleaning pod and rinses the
brewing container one nal time.
The LED “Clean machine” goes out
and the On/O button illuminates.
The cleaning programme is complete.
Regardless of the regularity of use, we
recommend that you clean the tea mak-
er at least once a month using a clean-
ing pod, even if the “Clean machine”
LED is not illuminated.
Cleaning
When the LED “carry out cleaning”
/ lights up, the appliance should
be cleaned using a cleaning capsule. The
programme takes approx. 25 minutes.
1. Switch on the tea machine and wait
until the Start-Button / lights
up continuously.
2. Fill up the water tank completely
with fresh tap water.
3. Activate the care mode. Press and
hold the buttons “quantity”– /
and “infusion time” + /
simultaneously for approx. 3 seconds.
4. Open the capsule slot and put in
a cleaning capsule.
5. The LED “carry out cleaning” /
starts to ash red and the Start-Button
/ lights up continuously

o when it is nished.
6. To start the cleaning programme,
press the Start-Button / .
7. The LED “empty capsule container”
/ lights up red continuously.
8. Remove the drip drawer and
empty the drip tray and capsule
container.
9. Insert the drip drawer again
and place a vessel with a volume of
at least 300ml below the outlet .
10. The LED “empty capsule container”
/ goes o and cleaning starts
automatically.
Info: Cleaning is carried out in two
cycles. The LEDs in the “brewing time”
display go o one after the other
during cleaning and indicate the time
in which the cleaning agent dissolves
and takes eect. When the LEDs are
all o, the cleaning uid is discharged
into the collecting vessel.
11. The rst cycle ends when the Start-
Button / is lit up continuously.
12. Empty the collecting vessel and put
it back under the outlet .
13. Then press the Start-Button /
again to start the second cycle.
14. The second cycle is nished when
the LED “empty capsule container”
/ lights up red and the Start-
Button / ashes.
15. Empty the collecting vessel.
16. Remove the drip drawer and
empty the drip tray and the capsule
container.
17. Reinsert the drip drawer and
place the collecting vessel under the
outlet again.
18. The LED “empty capsule container”
/ goes o and rinsing begins
automatically.
Info: The rinsing process rinses the
brewing chamber with fresh water at
the end of the process. The liquid that
has run through is discharged into the
collecting vessel. At the end of the
rinsing process the cleaning capsule
is ejected.
19. Rinsing is nished when the LED
“empty capsule container” /
lights up red and the Start-Button
/ ashes.
20. Remove the drip drawer
and empty the drip tray and the
capsule container.
