This section lists use cases of the USB NENAJack Box.
l
Up to four USB NENAjack boxes and one external audio interface can connect to a Scout console, which allows
supervisors to join a dispatcher's call, to accommodate multiple dispatcher trainees, or to provide redundancy
in the event of jack box failure.
l
Administrators can adjust audio levels, microphone sensitivity, and other settings to further enhance audio
clarity for dispatchers and supervisors.
System Requirements and Specifications
Avtec supports the following USBjack box models:

USBJack Box Allows Scout consoles to interface with headset/handset peripherals.
l
USBNENA Jack Box allows Scout consoles to interface with 911 phone devices via a NENA interface.
