Communication Settings
Communication Settings ( Menu Code: 3 )

Press and Hold
[ MENU ]
1. Press and hold the MENU key for 5
seconds.

2. Press the MENU key twice to change
to the Communication Settings menu.

Press [CAL] 3. Press the CAL key to enter the
Communication Settings Menu. The
baud setting will be displayed.
3.1
− Press the PRINT key to cycle between the baud rate settings:
12: 1200bps, 24: 2400bps, 48: 4800bps, 96: 9600bps
Press [MENU] 4. Press the MENU key to change to the
Device ID Number menu

− Press the UNIT key to move the cursor
− Press the PRINT key to increment the number (001-255)
Press [MENU] 5. Press the MENU key to change to the
Data Format menu
3.3
− Press the PRINT key to toggle between ASC (ASCII format) or RTU
(Modbus RTU format)
Press [MENU] 6. Press the MENU key to change to the
computer communication menu
3.4
− Press the PRINT key to cycle between the dierent options:
NON: turn o communication, CON: continuous output,
STY: output when stable, KEY: output when PRINT is pressed
SOFT: output by software command, TXXX: output every XXX sec.
Press [MENU] 7. Press MENU key to change to the
printer communication menu

− Press the PRINT key to cycle between the dierent options:
NON: turn o print, KEY: print when PRINT is pressed
SOFT: print by software command, TXXX: print every XXX seconds
Press [MENU] 8. Press the MENU key to the print key
setting menu.

− Press the PRINT key to cycle between the dierent options:
KEY-COM : Send data to computer when PRINT is pressed
KEY-PRT : Send data to printer when PRINT is pressed
KEY-ALL : Send data to both when PRINT is pressed
Press [CAL] 9. Press the CAL key to to conrm and
return to the previous menu.

Press [TARE]
Twice
10. Press the TARE key twice to return
to regular weighing mode.
