8. BASIC WEIGHING FUNCTIONS
Preparation
− Turn the balance on: Press (ON/OFF) Key.
Warm up time:
I To ensure proper operation, allow the balance to warm up according to
the warm-up times listed in the chart below:

Basic Weighing (after warming up)
Action Description Display Status
Press [CAL]
1. Zero the balance.
2. If using a container or tray, place it on the
platform.
( example : 20g )
Press [TARE]
3. Press the Tare key to zero the weight of
the container or tray.
4. Place the sample in the container.
( example : 100g )
Calibration / Adjustment
I Note: Adjustment should only be performed under the following
conditions:
− Nothing on the platform
− Balance is properly zeroed and stable
