Roadinstallationexamples
Sidemounted
Tomonitorvehiclestravellingalongaroadyoucanmounttheradarontothesideoftheroad.Theradarwillprovidealateral
coveragedistanceof10m(32ft).
Centermounted
Thismountingoptionrequiresastableposition.Theradarcanbemountedonapoleinthemiddleoftheroadoronabridgeabove
theroad.Theradarwillthenprovidealateralcoveragedistanceof10m(32ft)tobothsidesoftheradar.Theradarcoversa
broaderlateraldistancewhencentermounted.

Werecommendthattheradarismountedataheightbetween3m(10ft)and8m(26ft)fortheRoadmonitoringprole.
Roaddetectionrange
Detectionrangeisthedistancewithinwhichanobjectcanbetrackedandcantriggeranalarm.Itismeasuredfromneardetection
limit(howclosetothedeviceadetectioncanbemade)toafardetectionlimit(howfarfromthedeviceadetectioncanbemade).
Thisproleisoptimizedfordetectionofvehiclesandwillproduceavelocityaccuracyof+/-2km/h(1.24mph)whenmonitoring
vehiclesmovingatupto105km/h(65mph).
