Ingeneral,itisnotrecommendedtoinstallmorethanthreeradarsfacingeachothersincethisincreasestheriskofinterference
betweentheradars.However,insomespecicareasitcanbenecessary.Ifyouwanttocoverafootballeldforexample,youcan’t
placeradarsinthemiddleoftheeld.
Ifyouinstallmorethanthreeradarsfacingeachother,theminimumdistancefromoneradartoanotherneedstobe40meters
(130ft).Itisalsoespeciallyimportanttosetthenumberofneighboringradarsinthedeviceinterfaceandaddeachradarintoa
group.Thiswillhelptoimprovetheperformanceoftheradars.

Areadetectionrange
Detectionrangeisthedistancewithinwhichanobjectcanbetrackedandcantriggeranalarm.Itismeasuredfromneardetection
limit(howclosetothedeviceadetectioncanbemade)toafardetectionlimit(howfarfromthedeviceadetectioncanbemade).
TheAreamonitoringproleisoptimizedforhumandetection,however,itwillalsoallowyoutotrackvehiclesandotherobjects
movingatupto55km/h(34mph)withavelocityaccuracyof+/-2km/h(1.24mph).
Whenmountedattheoptimalinstallationheight,thedetectionrangesare:
•3–60m(10–200ft)whendetectingahuman
•3–85m(10–280ft)whendetectingavehicle
