AXISVideoMotionDetection3isincludedwiththeAxisproductandisavailableunderSetup>Applications.TouseAXISVideo
MotionDetection,theapplicationmustrstbestarted.Toavoiddetectingunwantedobjects,theapplicationshouldbecongured.
Duringconguration,visualconrmationcanbeusedtohelpunderstandtheeffectofthedifferentlters.Whenvisualconrmation
isenabled,redpolygonsshowwhichobjectstheapplicationdetectsandgreenpolygonsshowwhichobjectstheapplicationignores.
Considerations
BeforeusingAXISVideoMotionDetection3,takethefollowingintoconsideration:
•Smallanddistantobjectsmightnotbedetected.
•Detectionaccuracymaybeaffectedbyweatherconditionssuchasheavyrainorsnow.
•MakesurethatthelightingconditionsarewithintheAxisproduct’sspecication.Addadditionallightingifneeded.
•Makesurethatthecameraisnotsubjecttoexcessivevibrations.Vibrationsmightcausefalsedetections.
StartandStoptheApplication
Tostarttheapplication,selectitintheInstalledApplicationslistontheApplicationspageandclickStart.
Tostoptheapplication,selectitinthelistandclickStop.
