pointshavethisoption,inwhichcasetheyprobablyuseopensystem,alsosometimescalledSSIDAuthentication.
3.SelecttheKeylength,64bitor128bitusedforthewirelessencryption.
4.SelecttheKeytype,dependingonthekeytypeusedbytheaccesspointandenterthekeyinthecorrespondingkeyelds.
Manualallowsyoutomanuallyenterthehexkey.ASCIIrequiresthestringtobeexactlyvecharactersfor64–bitWEP
and13charactersfor128–bitWEP.ThePassphrasecancontainupto31characters.In64–bitWEPthepassphrase
generatesfourdifferentkeys.For128–bitWEP,onlyonekeyisgenerated,whichthenisreplicatedforallfourkeys.
TheActivetransmitkeyselectswhichofthefourkeystheAxisproductuseswhentransmittinginformation.
