thatanybodymayaccesstheLiveViewpage.
Theuserlistdisplaysauthorizedusersandusergroups(accesslevels):
•ViewershaveaccesstotheLiveViewpage
•Operatorshaveaccesstoallsettingsexcept:
-creatingandmodifyingprivacymasksettings
-uploadingapplicationsandlanguageles
-anyofthesettingsincludedintheSystemOptions
•Administratorshaveunrestrictedaccesstoallsettings.Theadministratorcanadd,modifyandremoveotherusers.

NotethatwhentheoptionEncrypted&unencryptedisselected,thewebserverwillencryptthepassword.Thisisthedefault
optionforanewunitoraunitresettofactorydefaultsettings.
UnderHTTP/RTSPPasswordSettings,selectthetypeofpasswordtoallow.Youmayneedtoallowunencryptedpasswordsifthereare
viewingclientsthatdonotsupportencryption,orifyouupgradedthermwareandexistingclientssupportencryptionbutneed
tologinagainandbeconguredtousethisfunctionality.
UnderUserSettings,selecttheEnableanonymousviewerloginoptiontoallowanonymoususersaccesstotheLiveViewpage.
SelecttheEnableanonymousPTZcontrollogintoallowanonymoususersaccesstothePTZcontrols.
DeselecttheEnableBasicSetupoptiontohidetheBasicSetupmenu.BasicSetupprovidesquickaccesstosettingsthatshouldbe
madebeforeusingtheAxisproduct.

ONVIF(OpenNetworkVideoInterfaceForum)isaglobalinterfacestandardthatmakesiteasierforendusers,integrators,consultants,
andmanufacturerstotakeadvantageofthepossibilitiesofferedbynetworkvideotechnology.ONVIFenablesinteroperability
betweendifferentvendorproducts,increasedexibility,reducedcostandfuture-proofsystems.
BycreatingauseryouautomaticallyenableONVIFcommunication.UsetheusernameandpasswordwithallONVIFcommunication
withtheproduct.Formoreinformationseewww.onvif.org

IPaddresslteringisenabledontheSystemOptions>Security>IPAddressFilterpage.Onceenabled,thelistedIPaddressare
allowedordeniedaccesstotheAxisproduct.SelectAlloworDenyfromthelistandclickApplytoenableIPaddressltering.
Theadministratorcanaddupto256IPaddressentriestothelist(asingleentrycancontainmultipleIPaddresses).
HTTPS
HTTPS(HyperTextTransferProtocoloverSecureSocketLayer,orHTTPoverSSL)isawebprotocolprovidingencryptedbrowsing.
HTTPScanalsobeusedbyusersandclientstoverifythatthecorrectdeviceisbeingaccessed.Thesecuritylevelprovidedby
HTTPSisconsideredadequateformostcommercialexchanges.
