WhenthefocuswindowissetfromthePresetPositionspage,itwillbeincludedinthesettingsforthatpreset.Thefocuswindow
canberedenedforthepreset,butitcannotbedeletedunlessthepresetisdeleted.
GuardTour
Aguardtourdisplaysthevideostreamfromdifferentpresetpositions,one-by-one,inapredeterminedorderoratrandomandfor
congurabletimeperiods.Theenabledguardtourwillkeeprunningaftertheuserhasloggedofforclosedthebrowser.
Toaddaguardtour:
1.GotoPTZ>GuardTourandclickAdd.
2.Enteradescriptivename.
3.Specifythepauselengthbetweenruns.
4.SelectanavailablepresetpositionandclickApply.
5.SpecifytheViewTimeinsecondsorminutes.
6.SpecifytheViewOrderorselecttheRandomvieworderoption.
7.ClickSave.
Tomodifyorremoveguardtours,gotoPTZ>GuardTour,selecttheguardtourintheGuardTourListandclickModify/Remove.

ThisAxisproductsupportslimitedguardtours.Thepausebetweensuccessiveguardtoursmustbesettoatleast10minutes.

AdvancedPTZsettingscanbeconguredunderPTZ>Advanced>Controls.
ThePanelShortcutCommandButtonslistshowstheuser-denedbuttonsthatcanbeaccessedfromtheLiveViewpage’sCtrl
panel.ThesebuttonscanbeusedtoprovidedirectaccesstocommandsissuedusingtheVAPIX®applicationprogramminginterface.
ClickAddtoaddanewshortcutcommandbutton.
ThefollowingPTZcontrolsareenabledbydefault:
•Pancontrol
•Tiltcontrol
Todisablespeciccontrols,deselecttheoptionsunderEnable/Disablecontrols.
Ifusingmultipleviewareas,deselectingacontrolwillonlydisablethecontrolintheselectedviewarea.
Note
DisablingPTZcontrolswillnotaffectpresetpositions.Forexample,ifthetiltcontrolisdisabled,theproductcanstillmoveto
presetpositionsthatrequireatiltmovement.
InstallPTZDriver
ThisAxisproductsupportsseveralPTZdevices.Pleaseseewww.axis.comforacompletelistofsupporteddevices,andtoobtainthe
correctdriver.ToinstallaPTZdeviceyouneedtoinstallthePTZdriver.
