OverlayImage
Anoverlayimageisastaticimagesuperimposedoverthevideostream.Theimage,forexamplecompanylogo,isusedtoprovide
extrainformationortomaskapartoftheimage.
Sinceitisstatic,thepositionandsizeofanoverlayimagewillremainthesameregardlessofresolutionandPan/Tilt/Zoom
movements.Tosetupadynamicmask,whichwillalwaysmaskthespeciedpartofmonitoredarea,seePrivacyMaskonpage22
Touseanoverlayimage,theimagemustrstbeuploadedtotheAxisproduct:
1.GotoVideo&Audio>OverlayImage.
2.ClickBrowseandbrowsetothele.
3.ClickUpload.
4.SelecttheimagetousefromtheUseoverlayimagelist.
5.ClickSave.
Todisplaytheoverlayimage:
1.GotoVideo&Audio>VideoStreamandselecttheImagetab.
2.UnderOverlaySettings,selectIncludeoverlayimageatthecoordinatesandentertheXandYcoordinates.
3.ClickSave.

PrivacyMask
Aprivacymaskisanareaofsolidcolorthatprohibitsusersfromviewingpartsofthemonitoredarea.Privacymaskscannotbe
bypassedviatheVAPIX®ApplicationProgrammingInterface(API).
ThePrivacyMaskList(Video&Audio>PrivacyMask)showsallthemasksthatarecurrentlyconguredintheAxisproductand
indicatesiftheyareenabled.
Youcanaddanewmask,re-sizethemaskwiththemouse,chooseacolorforthemask,andgivethemaskaname.
