Accelerometer

Tiltangleindicatestheangletowhichthecamera’slensholderistilted.A0°tiltiswhenthecameraispointingtotheground.It’s

possibletohaveatiltanglebetween0and180°.Totiltto180°,tilttoanangleof90°,rotatethelensholderandtilttoafurther90°.

Rotationangleindicatestheangletowhichthecamera’slensholderisrotated.Therotationrangeisbetween0to360°.Thecamera

isconsideredtobeinalevelpositionwhentherotationangleis0°,90°,360°or270°.

Thelevelingassistantthathelpstolevelthecameraisenabledbydefault.Todisableit,de-selecttheEnablelevelingassistantoption

fromSystemOptions>Ports&Devices>AccelerometerandclickSave.Torefreshthepageandviewthesavedsetting,clickReset.

Maintenance

TheAxisproductprovidesseveralmaintenancefunctions.TheseareavailableunderSystemOptions>Maintenance.

ClickRestarttoperformacorrectrestartiftheAxisproductisnotbehavingasexpected.Thiswillnotaffectanyofthecurrent

settings.

ClickRestoretoresetmostsettingstothefactorydefaultvalues.Thefollowingsettingsarenotaffected:

•thebootprotocol(DHCPorstatic)

•thestaticIPaddress

•thedefaultrouter

•thesubnetmask

•thesystemtime

•theIEEE802.1Xsettings

•uploadedapplicationsarekeptbutmustberestarted

ClickDefaulttoresetallsettings,includingtheIPaddress,tothefactorydefaultvalues.Thisbuttonshouldbeusedwithcaution.The

Axisproductcanalsoberesettofactorydefaultusingthecontrolbutton,seeResettofactorydefaultsettingsonpage62.

ToidentifytheproductortesttheStatusLED,clickFlashLEDunderIdentifyandspecifythedurationinseconds,minutesorhours.
