PresetPositions

Apresetpositionisasavedviewthatcanbeusedtoquicklysteerthecameratoaspecicposition.Apresetpositionconsistsof

thefollowingvalues:

•Panandtiltpositions

•Zoomposition

•Focusposition

•Irisposition

Presetpositionscanbeaccessedinseveralways:

•ByselectingthepresetfromthePresetpositionsdrop-downlistintheLiveViewPage.

•Whensettingupactionrules.Seepage37.

•WhensettinguptheGatekeeper.Seepage28

Toaddapresetposition:

1.GotoPTZ>PresetPositions.

2.Clickintheimageorusethecontrolstosteerthecameraviewtothedesiredposition.

3.EnteradescriptivenameintheCurrentpositioneld.

4.Ifrequired,selectUsecurrentpositionasHome.

5.ClickAddtosavethepresetposition.

TheHomepositionisreadilyaccessiblebyclickingtheHomebuttonontheLiveViewpageandinthePresetPositionssetupwindow.

Tosetacustomizedhomeposition,selectUsecurrentpositionasHomewhenaddingapresetposition.Theuser-denedhome

positionwillhave(H)added,forexample,Entrance(H).ThedefaultHomeposition,called“Home”,willstillbeavailable.

TheproductcanbeconguredtoreturntotheHomepositionwhenthePTZfunctionalityhasbeeninactiveforaspeciedlength

oftime.EnterthelengthoftimeintheReturntohomewheninactiveeldandclickSave.Setthetimetozerotopreventthe

productfromautomaticallyreturningtotheHomeposition.

Theproductcanbemountedinthreedifferenthorizontaldirections.ThismaycausetheviewfromPan0°tobechangedfromthe

originalview.ClickSetnewPan0°tosetthepancoordinatesystemtozerointhecurrentdirection.SetnewPan0°canbe

usefulforinstancewhenre-installingtheproductaftermaintenance.Notethat,settingPan0°willaffectallpreviouslydened

presets,guardtours,masksetc.

Gatekeeper

TheActiveGatekeepermonitorsanareasuchasanentrancegate.Whenmotionisdetectedinthemonitoredarea,theGatekeeper

will,dependingonconguration,steerthecameratoaselectedpresetpositionorstartautotrackingfromaselectedpresetposition.

Usingazoomed-inpresetpositioncanmakeitpossibleto,forexample,readalicenseplateoridentifyaperson.Whenmotion

isnolongerdetected,thecamerareturnstoitsHomepositionafteradenedtime.
