Theguardtourfunctioninthisproductincludestourrecording,whichallowsrecordingofacustomtourusinganinputdevicesuchas
ajoystick,mouse,keyboardorthroughtheVAPIX®ApplicationProgrammingInterface(API).Arecordedtourisareplayofarecorded
sequenceofPan/Tilt/Zoommovements,includingtheirvariablespeedsandlengths.
1.GotoPTZ>GuardTourandclickAdd.
2.SelectCreatearecordtourandclickOK.
3.Enteradescriptivename.
4.Specifythepauselengthbetweenruns.
5.Click
tostartrecordingthePan/Tilt/Zoommovements.
6.Whensatised,click.
7.ClickOK.

Onlythenameoftherecordedtourandpausebetweenrunscanbemodied.Startinganewrecordingwilloverwritethe
existingguardtour.
TherecordedtourcanbeactivatedfromtheLiveViewandGuardTourpagesorthroughevents.Formoreinformationseethe
onlinehelp.
InstallPTZDriver
ThisAxisproductsupportsseveralPTZdevices.Pleaseseewww.axis.comforacompletelistofsupporteddevices,andtoobtainthe
correctdriver.ToinstallaPTZdeviceyouneedtoinstallthePTZdriver.
ToinstallthePTZdrivergotoPTZ>DriverSelection.Browsetondthedriver(e.g.driver.ptz)andUpload.Ifthedriverwas
successfullyuploaded,itappearsintheSelectdrivertousedrop-downlist.Fromthisdrop-downlist,selectthedrivertoinstall
orremove,andclickSave.
SelectActivatePTZtoenablePTZ.TheaddressoftheconnecteddeviceappearsagainstDeviceID.ChoosetheDevicetypefromthe
drop-downlist.Tondwhichdevicetypetouse,consultthedocumentationsuppliedbythePTZdriver.
TocompletetheinstallationgotoSystemOptions>Ports&Devices>COMPortandverifythesettings.
