ensuresthattheconnecteddeviceswillbepowered.
-PoEclass:EachportautomaticallydeterminestheamountofpowertoreserveaccordingtothePoEclass
oftheconnecteddevice.
-Manual:Youcanmanuallyadjusttheamountofpowerallocatedtoeachportbychangingthevalueunder
Powerallocated.
-LLDP-MED:EachportdeterminestheamountofpowertoreservebyexchangingPoEinformationusingthe
LLDPprotocol.

ThepowerallocationmethodLLDP-MEDworksonlyforcameraswithrmware9.20orlater.
•Actualconsumption:Inthismethod,devicesusetheamountofpowertheyneeduntilreachingthepowerbudget.Aport
willbeshutdownifthedeviceconsumesmorepowerthanavailable.Theportsareshutdownaccordingtothepriority.
Tochangethepowerallocationmethod:
1.Intheswitch’spowermanagementpage,gotoPowermanagement.
2.Tousethereservedpowermethod,selectReservedpowerunderAllocatepowerandselectPoEClass,Manual,or
LLDP-MEDunderReservedpowerdeterminedby.
3.Tousetheactualconsumptionmethod,selectActualconsumptionunderAllocatepower.
4.IfyouhaveselectedManual,gotothePowerallocatedcolumnandchangethepowerallocatedtotheconnecteddevice.
5.Ifyouwanttochangethepriorityoftheconnecteddevice,selectapriorityforthatdevice.Thepriorityofotherdevices
willchangeautomatically.
