TCPport,andstreamingportspeciedinAXISCameraStationServiceControlareallowedtopassthroughtherewalland/orNAT.

communicationbetweentheserverandtheclient.YoucanchangetheportsinAXISCameraStationServiceControlifrequired.See

Topreventunauthorizedaccesstocamerasandrecordings,keepthefollowinginmind:
•Usestrongpasswordsforallnetworkdevices(cameras,videoencoders,andauxiliarydevices).
•InstallAXISCameraStationserver,cameras,videoencoders,andauxiliarydevicesonasecurenetworkseparatefrom
theofcenetwork.YoucaninstalltheAXISCameraStationclientonacomputeronanothernetwork,forexample,
anetworkwithinternetaccess.
•Makesureallusershavestrongpasswords.WindowsActiveDirectoryprovidesahighlevelofsecurity.
