O-ring A gasket or seal in the form of a ring with a circular cross
section, typically made of rubber and used especially in
swivelling joints.
ppm (unit of measurement) Parts per million also can be expressed as milligrams per
litre (mg/L). This measurement is the mass of a chemical or
contaminant per unit volume of water. Seeing ppm or mg/L on a
lab report means the same thing.
