MAINTENANCE
OPTIONAL STICK BREAKER ASSEMBLY
The stick breaker assembly is sharp and can be dangerous. It is always necessary for your protection to
be extra careful and wear proper hand protection when handling the stick breaker assembly. Before removing
or installing the stick breaker make sure all shut down procedures are followed.

The stick breaker assembly must be installed as shown in Figure 1. Bolt the stick breaker assembly to
the top mount plate and then bolt in to the upper belly band of the drum housing.

Do not operate the machine without the chip breaker assembly or the  ller plugs bolted to the top mount
plate and the upper belly band of the drum housing.
If the stick breakers are removed, the top ller plugs must be bolted to the top mount plate in place of the
stick breakers (see Figure 2) and the bottom  ller plugs must be mounted to the top belly band of the drum
housing.
Before attempting any type of maintenance, disengage clutch, wait for the disc/drum to come to a c omplete
stop, turn o󰀨 engine, remove the ignition key, make sure the ignition key is in your possession, install the disc/
drum lock pin, and disconnect the battery.
