1. Safety
Assembly parts are designed for intended use only in conjunction with DCP-0X10 LED displays.
Do not modify and/or replicate any component. B arco uses specific m aterials and manufacturing processes in order to achieve part
strength. Consult Barco for a ssistance with custom applications.
Always follow Barco installation instructions. Contact Barco if you should have any question regarding the safety of an application.
The m anufacturer assum es no liability for incorrect, inadequate, irresponsible or uns afe assembly of systems. The system must
comply with the local s afety regulations regarding environmental conditions, solidity final construction, etc…
Product care
Structural & mounting components s hould be kept dry, c lean, lubricated (only if recommended), coated properly, and otherwise
maintained in a manner cons istent with part design. Barco products must be used in a manner consistent with their design and
inspected on a ro utine basis for security, wear, deformation, corrosion and any other circumstances that may affect the load handling
capability of the part.
Barco r ecommends ins pections at regular intervals for all installations and increasing in frequency for more critical installations. If
a part is found to have dam age, w hich may cause a de crease in load capability, the par t must be rem oved for service or replaced
immediately.
Under no circumstances are Barco parts repairable b y anyone other than Barco.
1.2 Important safety instructions

• Read these instructions.

• Follow all inst ructions.
• Clean only with materials or chem icals that are inert, nonabrasive, noncorrosive and non- marking. Consult the manufacturer
for further adv ice should any doubts exist r egarding any cleaning procedure.
• Do not block ventilation openings. Install in accordance w ith t he manufac
turers ins tructions .
• Do not install near any heat so urces s uch as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other apparatus (including amplifiers) that
produce he at.
• Do not defeat the s afety purpose of the polarized or grounding type plugs/sockets. If the provided soc kets/plugs are damaged
then replacement of the defective parts must be undertaken immediately.
• Protect the power/data cords from being walked on or pinched particularly at plugs, convenience recep tacles, and the point
where they exit from the appar atus. Replace damaged power/data c ords immediately.
• Only use attachments/accessories s pecified by the manufacturer.
• Disconnect t he power to this apparatus during lightning storms or provide suitable additional lightning protection. Unplug this
apparatus when unused for long period of time.
• Refer all s ervicing to qualified service technicians/personnel. Servicing is required w hen the appa ratus has been dam aged in
any way, such as power-supply cord or plug is damaged, the apparatus does not operate normally, or has been dr opped.
• Use only with systems or p eripherals specified by the m anufacturer, or sold with the apparatus. U se c aution during lifting/moving
or trans porting to avoid dam age by possible tipping.
• Do not use damaged goods . Replace damaged parts imm ediately.
1.3 Important warnings

Risk of electric shock:
Do not open. To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not remove cover (or back). No user-serviceable parts inside. Refer servicing
to qualified service personnel.
Maximum and minimum ambient temperature:
The maxim um ambient temperature for the LED wall is 45 °C, the minim um temperature is -20°C.
Low Voltage Surge Protect ion Device required
Due to the damaging effects of lightning, utility s witching and switching electric motors of other us ers on the m a ins, this p roduct
needs to be protected by means of a Surge Protectio
n Device. If this product is connected to the mains through the power box
from Barco this pro tection device is already inc orporated and no extra meas ures need to be taken. If this product is connected to
the mains through a power distribution box from another party, please verify that a Low Voltage Sur ge Protection Device according
EN61643-11 or UL 1449 is in place.
