Step Action Description
3 Secure the
housing to
mounting
plate.
Position the mounting slot in the housing
on the lug of the mounting.
When in place, turn the mounting housing
clockwise until the slot plate is fully
engaged.
CAUTION: The housing cannot be
attached to the mounting plate without a
battery. This is barred for reasons of
safety.
4 Carry out
test
Carry out a function test (see section 7.4).
7.3. Replacing/installing the battery
Step Action Description
1 Remove
housing
To remove the battery, turn the housing
anticlockwise. It can then be removed
and access obtained to the battery.
2 Remove old
battery
Remove the battery from the battery
compartment by releasing the clip from
the battery terminals.
NOTE: Follow the instructions
under Disposal (section 11).
