9.17. Additional Step for the forward escape hatch
In order to better reach the forward escape hatch when stepping on the forward berth BAVARIA Yachtbau has integra-
ted a folding step into the Stb side of the berths plywood base, see the step unfolded in blue in the below illustation.
FliptheStbpartofthematresstotheotherside,thenunfoldthestep,itishingedontwoedges,sothereisonlyone
waytounfold,jamthefreeedgeintotherecess.
Now you may use this additional step to reach the escape hatch. Make sure all crew and guests have been instructed
in the operation of the step.
