The DC control unit GS2 is a power supply unit for controlling 24V Becker DC drives.
The performance figures for the control unit are tailored to these drives. If the trans-
former is overloaded, a thermoswitch in the transformer will deactivate and will only re-
activate when the control unit has been disconnected from the mains.
Parallel operation with the DC control unit GS1 is possible, i.e. the drive is powered by
DC control unit GS2 when mains voltage is present, and is automatically switched to
GS1 battery mode in the event of a power failure. The tubular drive is powered by the
supplied voltage at terminal A.
The control unit is encased in a splash-proof housing as a compact unit.

The end product manufacturer and fitter have to ensure that all the relevant current
statutory, official and, in particular, EMC regulations are adhered to during utilisation of
our products, especially with regard to end product manufacture, installation and cus-
tomer advice.
