Note on the mounting of passive terminals
EtherCAT Bus Terminals (ELxxxx/ESxxxx) that do not actively participate in data exchange
within the Bus Terminal block are called passive terminals. These terminals can be recog
nised by their lack of power consumption from the EBus. In order to ensure optimal data
exchange, these may not be connected directly inline to the power supply!
