Preparing the VARSEO S cartridge
The VARSEO S cartridge must be checked for resin
residue and thoroughly mixed before a job is
started.
1. Place the cap on the filled VARSEO S car-
tridge and lock the two components by turning
the bayonet coupling.
2. Release the lift rod from the locking pin and
carefully lower the stamp into the resin; apply
slight pressure, if necessary.
Risk of injury
The resin is light sensitive and can
cause allergic reactions.
• Observe the safety data sheet for
the resin in use
(→ http://www.bego.com).
• Observe the operating instructions.
• Wear protective gloves. Recom-
mendation: Nitrile gloves.
• Use protective eyewear (safety
glasses).
• Wear protective clothing.
• Protect from direct light / sun light.
• The glass plate of the VARSEO S cartridge
must be free of any solidified resin residues (it
is best to clean the surface of the cartridge
before filling in the resin). Clear the stamp pick-
ing up the resin from any solidified residues.
• In order to check if the stamp collecting the res-
in is resting flush with the bottom of the VAR-
SEO S cartridge, you should lift the VARSEO
S cartridge and look at the bottom of it. There
must only be a thin gap between the non-stick
film and the stamp (illustration on the left)
• The lift rod must be free of resin residue.
Otherwise they cannot move freely, and could
cause incorrect printing.
