USING THE HOB - INDUCTION
Basic Hob Function
• Turn on the hob by touching the ON/
OFF button (if a cooking zone is not
selected within 20 seconds, the hob
willautomaticallyswitchoff).
• Select the required cook zone and
powersetting(0to9).Betweenset-
tings 0 and 1, ‘U’ can be selected if
a gentle, low temperature setting is
required. If you need to change the
power setting whilst cooking, select
the cook zone again and adjust the
powersetting(iftted).
• To turn a cook zone off, select the
required cook zone and decrease the
the power setting to 0 (if the cook
zone surface is hot to touch, H will
replace 0 in the display.
Special Hob Functions
ON/OFF switch
The ON/OFF switch enables all of the
cooking zones to be switched off simulta-
neously.
• Touch the ON/OFF button for at
least 1 second to turn all of the cook
zones off. ‘H’ will appear within any
cook zone display if it is still hot to
touch. (See the HOB HOT light for a
descriptionofthisfeature).
Low Temperature Setting (Keep
Warm - if tted)
The Low Temperature setting provides a
very low, steady heat which is ideal for
keeping food warm, defrosting foods or
melting chocolate. To operate
• Turn on the hob and select the re-
quired cook zone. Select power set-
tingU(locatedinbetween0and1).
Pause Key
The Pause Key should be used to tempo-
rarily cut the power to the cooking zones
when you have unexpected interruptions
and you are unable to supervise the
cooking on the induction hob.
• Press the Pause button (all cook
zone functions will pause and there
willbenopower)
• To restart, press the pause button
and touch anywhere along the slider
control. All cook zones will resume
to their previous setting.
Recall
If you switch your hob off accidently, you
can recall the the hob setting you were
using. To operate
• Switch the hob back on
• Touch the Pause button and any-
where along the slider control. All
cook zones will resume to their
previous setting.
Power Boost
This feature, temporarily boost the power
to a cook zone by 60%.
The power boost is a function that can
be used to temporally boost the normal
maximum power for a cook zone by
borrowing the available power from a
“paired zone”.

touching the P
The hob is split into “two paired areas”.
