If the BS address is set to 0, the device goes into the trigger mode “auto”. See “Trigger function”,

The current address is displayed with the “COM/ADDR.” LED lit and the channel LED for 4 seconds. If the device
is in an extended address range (80...158), the address is displayed with the “COM/ADDR.” LED flashing and the
