RUNNING-IN AND PRELIMINARY
RUNNING-IN
During the first 500 km avoid riding
faster than 80 percent of the maximum
allowable speed. Avoid opening the throttle
wide and covering long distances at constant speed.
After the first 500 km gradually increase the speed to
the maximum performance.
PRELIMINARY CHECKS
Time "wasted" in checks will increase
your safety and that of others. Avoid
riding unless you are certain that your
scooter is in perfect working order.
Throttle: Ensure that throttle operation is smooth and
even in all handlebar positions. If necessary lubricate and
adjust the throttle control.
Fuel and lubricants: Check the fuel, mixer oil, transmission
oil and brake fluid levels. Top up if necessary. Check for
leakages by inspecting the ground under the scooter. If
any leakage is found, take the vehicle to a Benelli Dealer
or Authorized Workshop.

RODAGE
Pendant les 500 premiers kilomètres,
ne pas pousser le véhicule au delà de
80% de la vitesse maximum autorisée.
Eviter d'accélérer à fond et de maintenir la vitesse
constante pendant trop longtemps. Au bout de 500
kilomètres, augmenter progressivement la vitesse
jusqu'à atteindre les performances maximum.
CONTRÔLES PRÉALABLES
Le temps "perdu" pour les vérifications
est largement gagné pour votre sécuri-
té et pour celle des autres. N'utilisez pas
le scooter si vous n'êtes pas sûr de son parfait état de
fonctionnement.
Accélérateur: vérifier que le fonctionnement soit doux
et régulier dans toutes les positions du guidon. Lubrilier
et régler éventuellement la commande.
Carburants et lubrifiants: contrôler le niveau de
carburant, d'huile de mélange, d'huile de transmission,
de liquide de (rein et faire les appoints nécessaires. Contrôler
la présence de fuites au sol sous le scooter. En cas de fuite,
porter le scooter chez un Concessionnaire ou un Garage
Agréé Benelli.
