EXHAUST SYSTEM - DISASSEMBLY
Before proceeding with disassembly,
let the engine and exhaust system cool
down to the ambient temperature to avoid
possible burns.
• Put the vehicle on its stand.
• Disassemble the exhaust system by removing in
sequence the two screws (1) fixing the silencer to the
cylinder and then the two (2) engine crankcase fixing
screws.
• Remove the exhaust system (3).
On refitting the exhaust system, renew
the gasket.
Tighten the screws fixing the silencer
to the cylinder and to the engine crankcase.
Check the tightening torque value by means
of a torque wrench (see TIGHTENING TORQUES TABLE).

INSTALLATION D'ÉCHAPPEMENT - DÉMONTAGE
Avant de procéder laisser refroidir le
moteur et l'installation d'échappé-
ment jusqu'à atteindre la température
ambiante afin d'éviter d'éventuelles brûlures.
• Positionner le véhicule sur la béquille
• Démonter l'installation d'échappement en otant
successivement les deux vis (1) reliant le pot d'échap
pement au cylindre et enfin les deux {2} vis de fixage
au carter du moteur
• Ôler l'installation d'échappement (3).
Pour le remontage de l'installation
d'échappement. remplacer le joint par
un neuf.
Serrer les vis fixant le pot d'échappe-
ment au cylindre et au carter du
moteur, vérifiant à l'aide d'une clé dyna
mométrique si la valeur de serrage est correcte
(voir TABLEAU DES COUPLES DE SERRAGE).
